Criminal Justice and Rule of Law WG - Expert Meeting on the Development of Recommendations for the Collection, Use, and Sharing of Evidence for Purposes of Criminal Prosecution of Terrorist Suspects

The aim of the Working Group Co-Chairs, Nigeria and Switzerland, is to consolidate and build on the work that has already been done by the GCTF and other actors in the field of prosecuting terrorism cases while aiming at strengthening criminal justice responses to terrorism within a rule-of-law framework by providing guidance on collecting, sharing and the use of evidence in terrorism-related cases. In this regard, the Expert Meeting provided a first opportunity for participants to present on their national practices, share experiences and provide suggestions with regards to the development of these Recommendations, inducing trough the work in break-out sessions.
