15-16 November 2017
Endorsed at the Eighth GCTF Ministerial Plenary Meeting in New York on 20 September 2017, and supported by the International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law (IIJ), the Initiative aims to identify innovative prevention programs, and to develop new good practices on addressing the challenges of dealing with homegrown terrorism, focusing on concrete steps governments can take to effectively tackle underlying issues in a coordinated manner. The Good Practices will serve as a companion document to the GCTF The Hague-Marrakech Memorandum on Good Practices for a more effective response to the Foreign Terrorist Fighters Phenomenon.
