The GCTF Initiative on Education for the Prevention and Countering of Violent Extremism Conducive to Terrorism – co-led by the European Union and Morocco and with the support of Hedayah, the International Center of Excellence for Countering Extremism & Violent Extremism – undertook the research component of the Initiative in relation to the framework of the GCTF Abu Dhabi Memorandum for Good Practices on Education and Countering Violent Extremism.  

This Research Brief presents new findings, highlights current areas of concern, and recommends updates to existing approaches in education and P/CVE in a way that is broadly applicable and practical for policymakers and practitioners working in prevention through education.
